The Tower of Hercules is an ancient Roman lighthouse in A Coruña, Galicia, Spain, overlooking the Atlantic coast. It is the only fully preserved Roman lighthouse still used for maritime signalling.

Hercules was originally assigned 10 labours by King Eurystheus as penance for a fit of madness (induced by Hera) in which he killed his wife and children.It is said that here Hercules completed his 10 labours.
