Sorata is a town in the La Paz Department of Bolivia, known as a scenic, temperate destination located in a valley at the foot of the Mount Illampu and Ancohuma mountains.
These photographs show streets what remains of the old town of Sorata, being on the gold route, there are bare brick “modern” buildings which disfigure the town.
