Not much done to it as the colours were so intense naturally.

I took a friend to visit Greenwich and it is strange how one views a place anew through other people’s eyes and I rediscovered Greenwich once again.
The old sailor’s hospital now Greenwich University.

We have just returned from a memorable motorcycle ride to Spain and Portugal.
Here some highlights of the trip: it is hard to separate the experience from witnessing it as an observer, but next year the experience will be recording the trip.
In the mean time….
A fine busy port with an attractive approach. The large buildings I believe are hotels. We did not stay long enough: one busy town is the same as the next busy town.
We stopped for a coffee at the door of the Natural Reserve Ponga having followed the river along side the Picos de Europa.
Riaño by the reservoir with the lower edge of Picos de Europa in the distance.
We stopped at Medina de Rio Seco. We rode all day along the fertile plains of Castilla y Leon: wheat and other cereals as far as the eye could see, surrounded by distant bluish peaks.
Here’s an example of a village like hundreds on the plains of Castilla y Leon, with the morning sun as a backdrop.
The ruins of the old village of Otero de Sariegos, houses once built in mud bricks, with the old aviaries and the new ones.
